Digital Strategy and Educational Transformation Direction

1. Definition and direction of the Digital Strategy and the Educational Model

• Define and lead the University's Digital Strategy and Educational Transformation, aligned with the institutional strategy and oriented toward generating a sustainable competitive advantage.
• Analyze the current educational model and its degree of digital maturity, identifying opportunities for evolution in terms of pedagogy, technology, and student experience.
• Design the evolution of the Educational Model by integrating pedagogical innovation, digital competencies, and the use of data as key levers for differentiation.
• Drive a pioneering and anticipatory model, incorporating emerging trends (AI, adaptive learning, immersive experiences,.....) in a structured manner.
• Translate the strategy into clear, differentiating, and communicable proposals, reinforcing institutional positioning.

2. Implementation and scaling of the digital model and strategy

• Lead the deployment of the Educational Model and digital transformation initiatives across Faculties, Schools, and modalities (in-person, online, hybrid).
• Design and activate implementation plans that ensure homogeneous, sustainable, and scalable adoption.
• Accompany academic and management teams in the effective adoption of the model and digital solutions, guaranteeing their integration into programs and teaching practice.
• Drive the standardization of best practices and ensure the balance between institutional coherence and adaptation to each area of knowledge.
• Coordinate with key areas (IT, Academic Operations, Student Experience) to guarantee the correct execution of the deployment.

3. Educational innovation and digital transformation of learning

• Lead the pedagogical integration of key technologies: applied artificial intelligence, learning analytics, immersive environments (VR/AR), and LMS evolution (Canvas and digital ecosystem).
• Identify, prioritize, and lead strategic educational and digital innovation projects from their design to their institutional implementation and scaling.
• Define frameworks and standards for the use of technology in teaching, ensuring quality, coherence, and impact.
• Maintain active knowledge of global trends in education and digital transformation, evaluating their applicability within the institution.
• Define the measurement model for educational and digital transformation, including KPIs for adoption, impact on learning, student experience, and operational efficiency.
• Drive the use of data and analytics as a tool for academic decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Integrate the digital strategy and the educational model into quality, accreditation, and degree improvement processes.
• Participate in quality and academic governance bodies, providing an evidence-based strategic vision.
• Contribute directly to the improvement of key indicators: student satisfaction, NPS, retention, employability, and learning outcomes.
• Lead and coordinate teams or those responsible for educational and digital transformation in Faculties and Schools.
• Act as a key agent of cultural change, driving the adoption of new methodologies, technologies, and ways of working.
• Establish mechanisms for training, support, and development of faculty in digital and pedagogical competencies.
• Coordinate with Vice-Rectorates, Deaneries, and transversal areas (IT, HR, Quality, Marketing, Communication) to ensure alignment and execution.
• Design and drive adoption initiatives (e.g., communities, other AI adoption groups,..) that accelerate transformation.
• Collaborate with transversal departments in projecting the educational model and digital strategy as differentiating brand elements.
• Build a solid narrative of educational innovation and digital transformation for various stakeholders (students, professors, employers, rankings).
• Represent the University in forums, networks, and reference spaces for educational and digital innovation.
• Identify strategic alliances with institutions, technology companies, and educational partners that reinforce the value proposition.
