Job Description

At Veolia Spain, we are looking to add a Lawyer reporting to the Head of Legal Advisory for the northern area for our offices in Zamudio, Bizkaia.

Functions:

  • Comprehensive management and support in public tenders: Planning, coordination, and preparation of bids for public tenders, ensuring legal compliance at all stages of the process.
  • Analysis of tender documents and business advisory: Resolving legal queries on tender specifications and providing direct legal advice to commercial teams in submitting bids and responding to information requests.
  • Drafting risk notes and appeals: Preparing legal risk notes for bids and drafting claims and appeals, especially in administrative and contentious-administrative proceedings.
  • Commercial contract drafting and review: Studying, drafting, and reviewing all types of civil and commercial contracts (works, services, leases, NDAs) related to business activity, as well as monitoring their subsequent execution.
  • Procedural monitoring and follow-up: Coordinating, driving, and continuously monitoring all administrative files, submitted bids, signed contracts, and ongoing claims.
Requirements
  • Required education (Mandatory): Degree and Master's in Law.
  • Valuable education: Professional internships in law firms, notaries, in-house legal departments of companies, or in public Administration and bodies.
  • Previous experience: Desirable but not essential (open to junior profiles).
