About the role

Due to the significant growth experienced in the Buildings | WSP sector, we are looking to enhance the capabilities of our Public Buildings | WSP team and our Residential | WSP team in Santander or Madrid by adding an Architect.

Your New Role, What Does It Involve?

What you'll do

Your main responsibilities will include the overall management and coordination of architectural projects for public and private clients, participating in public, residential, and tertiary-use building projects from the initial design phases through to execution and technical site management.

You will be responsible for developing the technical documentation associated with projects, including drawings, reports, technical specifications, regulatory justifications, budgets, and contractual documentation. You will actively participate in preparing public tenders and coordinating multidisciplinary teams made up of specialists in architecture, structures, building services, civil engineering, and project management.

Additionally, you will take part in developing architectural projects using BIM methodology and tools such as Revit, contributing to the creation of high-quality models and technical documentation. You will ensure compliance with client requirements, project deadlines, and established BIM and quality standards, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams throughout all design phases.

You will also collaborate on architectural conceptualization and design tasks, as well as on site management and technical supervision during the execution phase, providing technical expertise and innovative solutions for complex, large-scale projects.

What we're looking for

We are looking for an Architect with more than 10 years of experience in developing construction projects and site management within the building sector.

The ideal candidate will have experience in residential, commercial, and/or public projects, as well as in preparing and managing tenders for public agencies and private clients.

Solid knowledge of urban planning and building regulations, experience in BIM environments, and advanced proficiency in Revit are essential. Knowledge of tools such as AutoCAD, Rhino, SketchUp, Photoshop, InDesign, BIM 360, Presto, or Cost-It will be an additional asset.

We are also looking for someone with the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage several initiatives simultaneously, and handle projects of high technical complexity.

A B2 or higher level of English and previous experience in engineering, architecture, or international consulting companies will be positively valued.
