Due to strong growth in our Power & Energy | WSP area, we want to add to our Bioenergy & Thermal | WSP team in Valladolid, Madrid, or León a Site Manager for Biomass Thermal Plants.

What you'll do

Your responsibilities will include planning, control, and technical supervision of the construction work, including inspections, resolving issues, reviewing materials, quality control, and compliance with the Work Plan, Quality Plan, and Waste Management Plan.

You will handle document and administrative management, including meeting minutes, official procedures, the Site Log Book, monthly reports (technical, financial, and photographic), measurements, and schedule tracking, as well as coordination and communication with the Client, Contractor, and external bodies, managing changes, modifications, legalizations, and liaison with authorities and utility companies. Finally, you will manage project closure and final handover, including the certificate of completion, final documentation, and the Building Log Book.

What we're looking for

We are looking for an Industrial Engineer or a professional with a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering and a Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering (MECES level 3 or EQF level 7), with a solid track record in thermal installation projects and construction management.

At least 10 years of experience in drafting execution projects and/or managing the construction of medium- and high-capacity thermal installations is essential, demonstrating in-depth knowledge of regulations, execution, and commissioning.

You must prove that you have been responsible for the design and construction management of at least two thermal plants with a capacity of 20 MW or more, fully built and commissioned, providing certificates from the contracting entity or the professional association. Likewise, you must demonstrate experience in projects and construction management of at least three biomass thermal plants with a capacity of 5 MW or more, also completed and in service, providing the corresponding supporting certificates.

We are looking for someone with proven experience in complex energy projects, comprehensive technical management skills, and extensive knowledge of thermal plants, biomass, energy efficiency, and construction execution, with a focus on quality, safety, and delivering results.
