At WSP, we are global leaders in engineering specialized in infrastructure, transportation, energy, environment, and building. We work on landmark projects where your technical expertise will be tested in demanding, high-value environments.

We are building a leading team for the design and management of Data Center projects, a strategic and highly competitive sector.

We want to bring on board, in the Madrid team, an Architect, Civil / Industrial Engineer to lead the team of Data Centers, being responsible for business development and operations.

We are seeking professionals with a solid technical and construction background, client-focused, and motivated to take on responsibility and grow professionally within a global leader in critical infrastructure.

What you'll do

Your main responsibilities will include participating in projects from proposal development through to preparation, execution, monitoring, and closeout; collaborating on coordinating the team of architects and engineers and on client relations; as well as contributing to the preparation of technical reports, drawings, specifications, measurements, and budgets, ensuring compliance with regulations and established quality standards on key projects.

It is essential to have held direct responsibility for at least 5 years in the construction of critical infrastructure—such as data centers, industrial facilities, hospitals, or high-availability projects—managing projects with budgets exceeding €15M and ensuring deadlines, costs, and quality standards are met.

A strong command of both English and Spanish is also required, along with proven experience in account management and business development, whether through tenders, proposal preparation, or direct client relations. Additionally, at least 3 years of experience leading teams in technical management roles is required, bringing coordination skills, decision-making ability, and strategic vision.

What you'll get

  • A stable position with real responsibility.

  • Projects with top-tier clients in a growing sector.

  • Active involvement in business strategy and growth.

  • Collaboration with high-level international teams.

  • Flexibility, professional development, and competitive benefits.
