Maintenance Technician

• Previous experience in facilities, maintenance, or companies within the sector.
• Experience working in a team.
• Proactive person, with initiative and good problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with different teams and levels of the organization.
• User-level knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to work with online systems and databases.
• Reliable, responsible, kind, and approachable person.

• Training or experience in a trade related to maintenance: electricity, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, or similar.
• Previous experience in customer service.
• Experience working in student residences, accommodation, or similar sectors.
• Intermediate level of English.

• Full-time temporary contract for 6 months.

Our Maintenance Technicians help ensure that our students have their best experience by maintaining our spaces and facilities in top condition, both inside and out.

• Manage the daily maintenance of our spaces.
• Comply with preventive and corrective maintenance requirements, in accordance with established service levels.
• Perform first-line repairs and maintenance tasks and provide support to specialized contractors when necessary.
• Perform manual tasks, support waste management, decoration, small repairs, and general maintenance of the facilities.
• Collaborate with the residence team in any other necessary maintenance service.
• Perform periodic health and safety checks, including those related to fire protection, risk assessments, and legionella controls.
• Contribute to ensuring the safety and correct functioning of our spaces, maintaining an up-to-date record of events and incidents.
• Support the rest of the Yugoers team in key tasks during the summer turnover period and other high-activity periods, ensuring the building is prepared for the arrival of new students.
• Support the customer service team and cover reception when necessary.
