The role

We are looking for an HVAC Project Engineer with experience in Data Centers to join our Infrastructure and Urbanization team.
Your experience in mechanical and HVAC systems for mission-critical environments will be fundamental to the development of large-scale Data Center projects, contributing to the creation of infrastructures that drive digital transformation on a global level.
What you'll do
- Design and sizing of HVAC systems for Data Centers, including IT rooms, technical spaces, and auxiliary areas.
- Development of basic and detailed engineering (technical reports, calculations, drawings, specifications, and project documentation).
- Design and selection of critical cooling solutions: chillers, CRAH, CRAC, free cooling systems, and other cooling technologies for Data Centers.
- Coordination with multidisciplinary teams (CSA, electrical, BMS, security, and telecommunications) to ensure the correct integration of systems.
- Supervision of on-site execution, verifying compliance with quality standards, safety, and established deadlines.
- Technical management of suppliers and contractors, participating in the evaluation of solutions and the review of technical documentation.
- Analysis and optimization of the energy performance of the facilities, contributing to the improvement of indicators such as PUE.
- Participation in commissioning activities, startup, and functional validation of critical systems.
- Preparation and review of final project documentation (as-built, operating procedures, and maintenance manuals).
- Application of international standards and best practices for Data Centers (ASHRAE, TIA, Uptime Institute, and applicable regulations).
- Identification and implementation of improvements focused on sustainability, energy efficiency, and the operational resilience of the facilities.
Requirements

- Knowledge of mission-critical HVAC systems and cooling technologies for Data Centers.
- Experience in the coordination of multidisciplinary projects.

Estamos buscando un/a Ingeniero/a de Proyectos HVAC con experiencia en Centros de Datos (Data Centers) para incorporarse a nuestro equipo de Infraestructuras y Urbanización.
Tu experiencia en sistemas mecánicos y de climatización para entornos de misión crítica será fundamental para el desarrollo de proyectos de Centros de Datos de gran envergadura, contribuyendo a la creación de infraestructuras que impulsan la transformación digital a nivel global.
What you'll do
- Diseño y dimensionamiento de sistemas HVAC para Centros de Datos, incluyendo salas IT, espacios técnicos y áreas auxiliares.
- Desarrollo de ingeniería básica y de detalle (memorias técnicas, cálculos, planos, especificaciones y documentación de proyecto).
- Diseño y selección de soluciones de refrigeración críticas: chillers, CRAH, CRAC, sistemas de free cooling y otras tecnologías de enfriamiento para Data Centers.
- Coordinación con equipos multidisciplinares (CSA, eléctrico, BMS, seguridad y telecomunicaciones) para garantizar la correcta integración de los sistemas.
- Supervisión de la ejecución en obra, verificando el cumplimiento de los estándares de calidad, seguridad y plazos establecidos.
- Gestión técnica de proveedores y contratistas, participando en la evaluación de soluciones y revisión de documentación técnica.
- Análisis y optimización del rendimiento energético de las instalaciones, contribuyendo a la mejora de indicadores como el PUE.
- Participación en actividades de commissioning, puesta en marcha y validación funcional de sistemas críticos.
- Elaboración y revisión de documentación final de proyecto (as-built, procedimientos operativos y manuales de mantenimiento).
- Aplicación de estándares y buenas prácticas internacionales para Data Centers (ASHRAE, TIA, Uptime Institute y normativas aplicables).
- Identificación e implementación de mejoras enfocadas a la sostenibilidad, eficiencia energética y resiliencia operativa de las instalaciones.
