Acciona, in its construction business line, needs to hire a purchasing manager with direct on-site experience for major building projects in Barcelona. They will be responsible for optimizing contracting processes, suppliers, and subcontractors, ensuring quality, schedule, and cost across all project phases.
Mission:
Execute the project parts assigned within their unit/department, according to established procedures, to facilitate compliance with established deadlines and coordinate the necessary resources (human and material), driving the contribution of significant improvements to the project.
Sub-function responsible for all tasks associated with sourcing goods and services for all types of business processes applicable to the organization, including product supply activities, supplier selection, price negotiations, and order processing.
Functions:
• Responsible for managing and monitoring purchases within the department
• Requesting, analyzing, and comparing bids for materials, services, and subcontractors, supporting the site team.
• Monitoring and controlling the entire process until completion.
• Negotiating prices, supply conditions, and contractual terms in collaboration with the site team.
• Monitoring and controlling the financial aspects of transactions and identifying new opportunities.
• Qualifying and monitoring suppliers and subcontractors.
• Constantly updating the supplier database.
