Acciona, in its construction business line, needs to hire a purchasing manager with direct on-site experience for major building projects in Barcelona. They will be responsible for optimizing contracting processes, suppliers, and subcontractors, ensuring quality, schedule, and cost across all project phases.

Mission:
Execute the project parts assigned within their unit/department, according to established procedures, to facilitate compliance with established deadlines and coordinate the necessary resources (human and material), driving the contribution of significant improvements to the project.

Candidate requirements

  • Education: Engineer, Architect (Technical or Higher, or similar).

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position within the construction sector, having worked or collaborated closely with site teams. Must understand how a construction site operates, its phases and needs, and provide a technical and practical vision that enables them to negotiate and manage the procurement of materials, equipment, and services efficiently.

  • Knowledge of the supplier and subcontractor market.

  • Ability to analyze, negotiate, and make decisions.

  • Proficient use of office and software tools.

  • Residence in the province of Barcelona or availability to travel within the area.
