Requirements

What we're looking for

Degree in Industrial, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or similar.
Between 3 and 7 years of experience in cost control, planning, or project management in industrial, energy, or construction sectors.
Analytical skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking.
Organization, results orientation, and effective communication.
Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
Cost control, budgets, planning, and Earned Value Management (EVM).
Change management, risk analysis, and cost estimation/forecasting.
Tools: Primavera P6, MS Project, SAP, Power BI, Advanced Excel.

Nice to have

Training in Project Controls or Project Management is valued.
Intermediate/advanced English is valued.

Acciona, in its Circular Economy business line, needs to hire a Cost Control Engineer.

ACCIONA's Circularity and Renewable Gases division develops, designs, builds, operates, and maintains renewable gas projects (Biomethane, Hydrogen...), CO2 valorization, waste management, and recycling of emerging materials.

In this context, ACCIONA Circularity and Renewable Gases wants to bring on board a person who can help drive this vision forward.

What you'll do

Plan, monitor, and control project costs, schedules, and performance, providing reliable information for decision-making and contributing to the achievement of established economic and execution objectives.

Prepare and maintain project budgets and cost estimates.
Monitor and control costs, identifying deviations and trends.
Prepare final cost forecasts (Estimate at Completion - EAC). Monitor the physical and financial progress of projects.
Develop and update schedules in coordination with planning.
Analyze productivity, performance, and resource utilization.
Prepare periodic project control reports.
Manage change control processes and impact assessments.
Apply earned value management (Earned Value Management - EVM) methodologies when applicable.
Collaborate with engineering, construction, procurement, and finance to ensure the integrity of project information.
