We are looking for a Cost Controller to expand one of our teams in Madrid.

Reporting to the Project Management, the selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Preparation, monitoring, and control of the project budget, ensuring profitability and compliance with economic objectives.
• Analysis of budget deviations, identification of causes, and proposal of corrective actions.
• Management of cost accounting, including the allocation of invoices, delivery notes, and certifications.
• Control and monitoring of labor, material, subcontracting, and other project costs.
• Preparation of cost monitoring reports for Project Management and the Client, including projections and closing forecasts.
• Participation in the preparation of bids and economic feasibility studies for new projects.
• Collaboration with different departments (purchasing, planning, engineering, etc.) to ensure correct cost management.
• Ensuring compliance with the company's internal policies and procedures regarding cost control.
• Optimization of project costs through the identification of improvement opportunities and efficiencies.
• Management of the certification and invoicing processes for the different phases of the project.
• Analysis and control of project cash flows.
• Coordination with external and internal auditors regarding cost management.
• Development and maintenance of cost control tools.
• Active participation in project monitoring meetings, providing the economic and financial vision.
• Identification and evaluation of economic risks and opportunities associated with the project.
• Guaranteeing the accuracy and reliability of all financial information related to the project.
• Meeting the reporting requirements of the client and the company management.
