What we're looking for

Previous experience working with Opera Cloud or a similar hotel management system will be valued.
Proficiency in English. Knowledge of French or other languages is a plus.
Previous experience in a similar or equivalent position will be valued.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to express oneself clearly and confidently.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with great attention to detail.
Basic accounting knowledge and the ability to manage financial transactions accurately.
Ability to work autonomously and make decisions in the absence of the daytime management team.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Knowledge of hotel operations and standard reception procedures.

Job description

We are looking for a meticulous, customer-oriented, and committed Night Receptionist to join our team in Castelldefels, Barcelona. As a Night Auditor, you will play a fundamental role in ensuring the smooth running of operations during the night and maintaining a high level of guest satisfaction. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who thrive in a dynamic hotel environment and possess strong analytical and organizational skills.

What you'll do

Perform end-of-day accounting procedures, including balancing daily transactions and preparing night reports.
Verify and reconcile guest accounts, ensuring accuracy and resolving any discrepancies.
Provide exceptional customer service during check-in, check-out, and throughout the night shift.
Handle guest inquiries, requests, and incidents to ensure a positive experience.
Maintain a safe environment for both guests and employees.
Generate and distribute various financial and operational reports.
Collaborate with other departments to resolve any incidents or needs related to guests.
Monitor and update room inventory and availability.
Accurately manage credit card payments and other payment methods.
Perform other reception duties as necessary during the night shift.
Prepare and set up the breakfast buffet for the following morning.
Service of premium beverages and products.

To help you perform your role and foster your success, you will receive training in all areas related to hotel reception, as well as facility and personal security procedures.
