About the role

At ADYD Group we are still growing and we are looking to bring on board a Senior Underground Systems Engineer to take part in large-scale projects within the industrial sector, as part of a multidisciplinary technical team.

🎯 Job Mission

You will join the technical team to lead the development and coordination of the project's underground systems, drainage, roads, and pavements.

Your objective will be to ensure the correct technical definition of these systems, from hydraulic calculations and design to multidisciplinary coordination, review of deliverables, and optimization of solutions.

What you'll do

🔧 Responsibilities

  • Analysis and application of project specifications related to underground systems, drainage, roads, and pavements.

  • Hydraulic calculation, routing, and sizing of gravity drainage networks: stormwater, oily water, and sanitary water.

  • Development and review of hydraulic models using StormCAD or similar software.

  • Supervision and validation of 3D modeling of underground systems, ensuring a clash-free design properly coordinated with the rest of the disciplines.

  • Leading studies for roads, access roads, and pavements, including traffic solutions and surface drainage.

  • Technical and multidisciplinary coordination of the project's underground systems.

  • Review and validation of preliminary sizing, designs, and take-offs for procurement processes and requests for quotation.

  • Review and approval of layout drawings, isometrics, manhole schedules, and construction details.

  • Identification of risks, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Proposal of Value Engineering solutions aimed at optimizing costs, schedules, and constructability.

What we're looking for

🧩 Requirements

  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similar.

  • 10–15 years of experience in roles related to underground systems, drainage, roads, and pavements.

  • Experience in technical leadership and multidisciplinary coordination.

  • Advanced knowledge of hydraulic calculation and drainage network design.

  • Advanced English level.

  • Proficiency in StormCAD or similar software.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office.

  • Solid knowledge of pavement, road, and surface drainage design.

  • Analytical, solution-oriented profile with the ability to coordinate and make technical decisions.
