Senior Civil Engineer

The person joining must bring a background in Civil Engineering and have more than 10 years of experience.

Experience is required in the following fields:

• Understanding geotechnical and topographical reports and being able to extract data from them.

• Proficiency in the calculation and design of underground networks, such as sewerage and stormwater systems.

• Design of water supply and fire protection networks

• Design of the routing of conduits for telecommunications, LV, MV, and HV. Provision of routings, trench sections, manholes, chambers, etc.

• Earthworks. Ability to calculate excavation and fill volumes.

• Road design

• Design of pavement structures.

• In-depth knowledge of design standards for public services and structures, and engineering techniques of the discipline.

• Familiarity with PG3, Eurocodes, AASHTO, Road Pavement Design, etc.

• Familiarity with the software Civil 3D, AutoCAD. Revit is a plus.

Specifically, we are looking for an Engineer to work in the civil department.

Job functions

The candidate will be responsible for the development of civil engineering projects in their different design phases (Stage 2, Stage 3, and Stage 4), ensuring compliance with client requirements, quality standards, and coordination with the rest of the involved disciplines.

Main responsibilities include:

• Development of the project's civil engineering during the different design phases (Stage 2, Stage 3, and Stage 4).

• Preparation and review of drawings, technical reports, specifications, calculations, and measurements corresponding to the civil discipline.

• Design and coordination of the various civil works, including:

  • Demolitions.

  • Earthworks.

  • Layout and urban development.

  • Paving.

  • Signage.

  • Gardening and landscaping.

  • Design and coordination of underground networks, including pressurized water supply networks, gravity sewer/stormwater networks, MV/LV electrical networks, telecommunications, and security systems, as well as fuel networks.

• Technical coordination with the rest of the project disciplines (structures, architecture, MEP installations, etc.) to ensure the correct integration of designs.

• Participation in technical meetings with clients, consultants, and other project stakeholders, representing the civil discipline and responding to the technical requirements raised.

• Review and compliance with applicable regulations, client specifications, and internal quality standards.

• Technical support during project development and resolution of design issues in coordination with the rest of the team.
