At Aldesa, we continue to expand our team with large-scale strategic projects. Currently, we are looking to hire 4 Tunnel Shift Supervisors to direct, coordinate, and supervise excavation, advancement, and support works during specific work shifts at the Despeñaperros underground site.

What you'll do

📋 Responsibilities:

Production control: Supervise the physical progress of the excavation and ensure compliance with planned yields.
Team management: Organize and coordinate shift personnel (operators, jumbo operators, machine operators, etc.) in rotating shifts (morning, afternoon, and night).
Explosives control: Manage the use, loading, and recording in the explosives logbook during blasting operations.
Safety and prevention: Strictly monitor compliance with mining and construction safety regulations inside the tunnel.
Machinery and materials: Verify the good condition of the equipment used (drifters, jumbos, etc.) and coordinate the timely supply of materials.
Incident resolution: Make decisions under pressure and resolve geological unforeseen events at the excavation face (rockfalls, water seepage, etc.).
