The role

We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to optimize stock levels in stores through accurate demand forecasting analysis, ensuring maximum product availability for the end customer, while minimizing food waste (shrinkage) and storage costs.

What you'll do

Analyze store sales history to project future stock needs.
Adjust forecasting algorithms by introducing critical variables: seasonality, holidays, weather, local calendars, and fresh product seasonality.
Configure and supervise automatic ordering parameters in distribution centers (DC) and stores (safety stock, delivery frequencies, minimum lot size).
Review and validate automatic order proposals for the stores.
Collaborate closely with the Commercial and Marketing departments to calculate the demand "peak" generated by offers, leaflets, and special campaigns.
Ensure the necessary stock is available before the start of a promotion and manage the remaining stock once it ends.
Control the service level to the store and to the end customer.
Alert regarding excess stock or slow-moving products (risk of expiration)
Minimize stockouts of high-turnover products
