About the role

At B. Braun, we are looking to incorporate a Field Technician for the Biomedical Engineering Service in the Valencia area.

The main mission will be to ensure the maintenance, installation, and technical support of specialized biomedical equipment in the electromedicine field.

What you'll do

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and install equipment following protocols and quality standards.
  • Record interventions in Service Max to ensure reliable and complete data.
  • Provide specialized technical support. Assist colleagues, technical and healthcare staff in the use and resolution of incidents.
  • Cross-departmental collaboration. Work with commercial, marketing teams, and clients in critical situations; participate in improvement projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate urgent services, advise on inventory and procurement management, and propose improvements in planning.
  • Ensure safety and risk prevention in all activities.

Requirements

  • Education: Advanced Vocational Training (FPII) or Degree in Industrial/ Biomedical Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of experience in biomedical equipment services (dialysis, infusion, water treatment plants). Experience in water treatment plants is highly valued.
  • Knowledge of SAP, Service Max, and data analysis tools.
  • English level B2
  • Responsible and committed person. Proactive attitude, problem-solving skills, customer-oriented, able to work under pressure and with strong communication skills.
  • Availability to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Occasional availability to work on weekends or night shifts for scheduled preventive maintenance of a quarterly or semi-annual nature.
  • Residence in Valencia or surrounding areas.
