Network and Perimeter Security Administrator

Technical requirements

-3 to 5 years of experience in network and security operation and administration.

• Solid networking knowledge: TCP/IP, switching, VLAN, static and dynamic routing (OSPF and BGP), VRF, VPN, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with next-generation firewalls, preferably Palo Alto, Check Point, Fortinet, or Cisco; rule creation and review, log analysis, and incident resolution.
• Knowledge of perimeter security solutions: proxy, VPN, IDS/IPS, web filtering, and access control.
• Experience with F5 load balancers or other ADC solutions will be valued.
• DNS, DHCP, and IPAM management; experience with Infoblox is valued.
• Knowledge of monitoring and ticketing tools, traffic analysis, and diagnosis via CLI.
• Experience working with change procedures, incident management, and technical documentation, preferably under the ITIL framework.
• Familiarity with cloud environments, especially Azure and/or AWS, and their network and security controls.
• Ability to work in critical environments, with high availability and controlled change windows.
• Technical English sufficient to work with documentation and manufacturers; minimum B1-B2 level recommended.

Academic requirements and certifications

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, ASIR, or similar.
• Certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, PCNSA/PCNSE, Fortinet NSE/FCP, Check Point CCSA/CCSE, or equivalents will be valued.

Skills

• Analytical capacity to identify root cause and differentiate between network, security, systems, or application incidents.
• Autonomy in managing standard requests and changes, with the judgment to escalate complex incidents.
• Documentary rigor, service orientation, and good communication with technical and business teams.

Conditions

• Schedule: 8:00 to 17:00 or 9:00 to 18:00
• Availability to participate in on-call shifts or interventions outside of regular hours, if the service requires it. These are rotating on-call shifts within the team; one shift occurs approximately every month and a half.
