A major international group is looking to hire a Financial Controller for its plant located in Gipuzkoa. The successful candidate will join a dynamic, international environment, playing a key role in financial analysis, management control, and strategic business support, working directly with the European Finance Department.

You will ensure proper financial control of the plant, providing analysis, information, and strategic support that contribute to the profitability, stability, and growth of the business.

What you'll do

You will prepare and analyze periodic financial statements, including income statements, budgets, cash flow, and variance analysis.
You will provide financial support to management and different departments to facilitate decision-making.
You will monitor budget compliance and participate in defining business strategies and cost optimization.
You will analyze financial performance and participate in medium- and long-term planning and forecasting processes.
You will manage quarterly budgeting and forecasting processes.
You will deliver monthly results presentations and analyze results together with European financial management.
You will manage and monitor the profitability of contracts and operations.
You will participate in reviewing pricing policies, contracts, and commercial proposals.
You will drive improvements in financial systems and processes, promoting greater efficiency and quality of information.
You will collaborate with different business areas to contextualize and translate financial information into operational decisions.
You will ensure compliance with internal control policies, corporate governance, and risk management.
