What we are looking for

Education and experience

• Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or similar.
• Solid experience in financial controlling or management control.
• Demonstrated experience in advanced financial reporting and business analysis.
• Experience in multinational companies, startups, or accelerated growth environments is valued.
• Experience in environments with investors or Private Equity is highly valued.
• Knowledge of accounting, financial, and labor regulations.
• High level of English (minimum C1).
• Proficiency in Excel, ERP, and financial reporting and analysis tools.

An important international company in the dermocosmetic sector, in the midst of a growth and transformation process, is looking to hire a Finance Controller Iberia to provide strategic and operational financial support to the businesses in Spain and Portugal.

We are looking for a profile with solid analytical capacity, business orientation, and a hands-on mentality, capable of moving with agility in dynamic and demanding environments. The selected person will have a key role in generating valuable financial information, business control, and supporting management in strategic decision-making.

What will your mission be?

You will be responsible for providing solid financial judgment to the business, guaranteeing the reliability of economic information and providing strategic analyses that contribute to the growth and efficiency of the company.

The position combines responsibilities of financial controlling, advanced reporting, and accounting supervision, with strong exposure to management and international stakeholders.

Main responsibilities

Financial control and reporting

• Prepare, analyze, and optimize recurring financial reporting (weekly reports, forecast, cash-flow, KPIs, etc.).
• Analyze margins, deviations, and business profitability.
• Design and implement financial control tools and indicator monitoring.
• Guarantee the quality, consistency, and reliability of financial information.

Planning and business support

• Participate actively in financial planning and business model definition.
• Provide support for strategic decisions related to growth, investment, and expansion.
• Collaborate closely with commercial and operational areas to understand the evolution of the business and its financial needs.
• Act as a financial partner to management, providing analysis and a critical vision.

Accounting supervision, administration, and compliance

• Supervise accounting and coordinate outsourced processes when appropriate.
• Ensure compliance with local financial, tax, and administrative regulations.
• Participate in audits and coordination with external advisors.
• Drive improvements and optimization of internal financial processes.
• Coordinate administrative processes related to payroll and labor management.
• Provide support in selection, hiring, and employee document management processes.
• Manage the relationship with the external consultancy responsible for payroll and labor administration.

Relationship with stakeholders

• Prepare financial reporting for demanding stakeholders, including investors and Private Equity environments.
• Maintain constant interlocution with international teams and management.
• Adapt quickly to changes in priorities and new business needs.
