What we're looking for

Must-Have Requirements

Education: University Degree preferably in Business Administration and Management (ADE), Economics, Finance, or related degrees.
GTF Product Knowledge: Solid understanding of the typology and functioning of Trade Finance products (Letters of Credit/LC, Guarantees/Standby LC, Forfaiting, and Supply Chain Finance / International Confirming).
Languages: Fluent proficiency (C1/Negotiation level) in English and Spanish, necessary for negotiation with international counterparties and institutions.
Financial and Risk Analysis Capacity: Clear understanding of credit risks, country risk, operational risks, and profitability metrics associated with foreign trade operations.
Tools: Advanced proficiency in the Office suite (Excel for modeling/analysis and PowerPoint for executive synthesis).

Nice to have

Nice-to-Have Requirements

Knowledge of the banking regulatory framework and applicable trade legislation (International Chamber of Commerce - ICC Rules: UCP 600, URDG 758, etc.).
Previous experience (1 to 3 years) in GTB, Trade Finance, Markets Middle Office, or Corporate Banking areas.
Familiarity with market platforms and transactional management.

The Global Trade Finance (GTF) Spain team is a market leader in the origination and structuring of international trade finance products and risk mitigation solutions. We manage everything from traditional foreign trade operations to complex structured financings with Export Credit Agencies (ECAs) and multilateral organizations, allowing our clients to optimize their working capital and expand their global operations with total legal and financial security.

What you'll do

Main Responsibilities

Advisory and Consultative Sales: Support the commercial team and Coverage desks (Coverage) in identifying Trade Finance needs, presenting ad-hoc technical proposals.
Financial Structuring and Feasibility Analysis: Analyze the economic, credit, and country/operational risk feasibility of each transaction, ensuring the balance between value for the client and risk-adjusted return (RAROC) for the bank.
Legal and Documentary Negotiation: Negotiate terms, conditions, and contractual documentation (assisted by Legal) with clients, participating financial entities, multilaterals, and insurers.
Cross-functional Risk Management: Lead the preparation and defense of risk proposals in the corresponding committees, registering operations in internal credit management tools.
