As a Substation Engineering Coordinator, you will be responsible for the comprehensive management of assigned projects, ensuring technical excellence and the achievement of objectives. Your responsibilities will include, among others:

• Planning and Scheduling: Develop detailed engineering plans for substation projects, defining milestones, resources, and schedules. Oversee the execution of the plan, identifying and mitigating potential deviations.
• Technical Coordination: Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams (electrical, civil, mechanical, etc.) involved in the design and execution of substations.
• Project Management: Ensure the correct execution of projects from the design phase through to commissioning, meeting deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Design and Documentation: Oversee the preparation and review of relevant technical documentation, including drawings, technical reports, health and safety studies, etc.
• Risk Management: Identify, evaluate, and manage risks associated with projects, implementing contingency plans when necessary.
• Quality Control: Ensure that all engineering and construction work complies with current technical regulations and client requirements.
• Client Liaison: Maintain fluid and professional communication with clients, reporting on project progress and managing their expectations.
• Supplier and Contractor Management: Coordinate and supervise the work of external suppliers and contractors, ensuring compliance with contractual agreements.
• Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Promote the adoption of new technologies and working methodologies to optimize engineering processes and increase efficiency.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all project aspects comply with applicable legislation and regulations regarding safety, environment, and quality.

We are currently looking for a Substation Engineering Coordinator to join our team and contribute to the success of key projects in Madrid and Teruel.

• University degree in Engineering (Electrical, Industrial, or similar).
• Minimum of 5 years of demonstrable experience in the management and coordination of engineering projects, with a specific focus on electrical substations.
• In-depth knowledge of the different phases of a substation project lifecycle, from conceptual design through to commissioning.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
• Solid technical knowledge in the field of electrical substations (design, equipment, regulations).
• Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to travel between Madrid and Teruel.
