Requirements

At least 5 years of experience in design, integration, and management of industrial automation projects.
Solid knowledge of industrial or collaborative robotics, with experience in manufacturers such as KUKA, ABB, FANUC, or Universal Robots.
Proficiency in PLC and automation environments such as Siemens TIA Portal, Beckhoff, or equivalents, and industrial networks such as PROFINET or EtherNet/IP.
Hands-on experience in the integration of systems such as automated warehouses, stacker cranes, AGV/AMR, or process peripherals.

At BETWEEN, we are selecting a Senior Industrial Automation Engineer to participate in automation and digitalization projects for manufacturing processes. We are looking for a person with experience in the design and integration of plant solutions and in comprehensive project management, capable of combining technical criteria with business vision.

What you'll do

Analyze manufacturing processes and the needs of each plant to define automation solutions.
Design the physical architecture of the facilities: plant layout, robotics, peripherals, warehouses, sensors, PLC, and safety systems.
Manage projects from start to finish, coordinating costs, deadlines, hardware suppliers, and risks.
Present and justify solutions to plant and engineering managers, assessing their technical feasibility, return on investment, and total cost.
Ensure compliance with industrial safety requirements, CE marking, and applicable regulations for machinery and robotic cells.
Define design standards and engineering best practices, contributing to the technical development of the team.
