Quality and Reliability Engineer – Reliability & Validation

• Technical degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or similar.
• At least 2 years of experience in positions related to quality engineering, reliability, validation, testing, or product engineering.
• Experience in the design and execution of test and validation plans for products or systems.
• Knowledge of failure analysis, troubleshooting, and technical problem solving.
• Ability to define and document tests, procedures, and validation results.
• Experience using incident management / defect tracking tools.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with different engineering teams.
• Good level of English, both oral and written, to work in an international environment.

• Experience in reliability engineering or Design for Reliability (DfR).
• Experience in the validation of mechanical systems, mechatronic systems, or industrial products.
• Knowledge of failure analysis methodologies.
• Experience in product development environments.
• Knowledge of 3D printing or printing technologies.
• Experience with defect analysis and tracking tools.

You will work in a 3D printing product development and validation environment, participating in testing, reliability, and quality activities during the product development cycle.

• We are looking for a Quality and Reliability Engineer to participate in the validation of 3D printer systems and subsystems.
• Define, together with internal teams, the test assemblies and setups necessary to emulate specific subsystems of a 3D printer and validate their reliability.
• Develop and execute validation plans, methodologies, and processes, ensuring system integration according to reliability specifications.
• Define and document tests and procedures to evaluate product behavior and performance in terms of reliability.
• Create test plans and schedules, balancing execution times and the confidence level of the data obtained.
• Document and report the results of the tests performed to the corresponding engineering communities.
• Record quality issues detected during testing in defect tracking systems.
• Follow up on incidents together with the engineering teams to understand their cause and facilitate their resolution.
• Collaborate in the analysis of systems and components to determine the root or potential causes of failures.
• Participate in Design for Reliability (DfR) reviews during the different development phases of subsystems and products.
• Work in close collaboration with different engineering teams within an international environment.
