Planning Engineer, Montoir de Bretagne - France

• More than 10 years of demonstrable experience as a Planning Engineer, preferably in EPC environments.
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and other project planning tools.
• Solid experience in managing complex schedules in industrial projects, with special emphasis on the Petrochemical, Chemical, or Energy sectors.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Results-oriented with a strong focus on achieving objectives.
• Fluent level of French (indispensable for communication in the work environment).

• Knowledge of the Spanish language will be positively valued.

Currently, we are looking for a Planning Engineer to join and empower one of our strategic teams in Montoir de Bretagne, France.

The Planning Engineer will be responsible for the comprehensive management of the schedule and project planning, ensuring their efficient and successful execution. Specific responsibilities include:

• Development, maintenance, and control of project schedules using advanced tools such as Primavera P6.
• Coordination with engineering, construction, and other departments to ensure the alignment of planning with project objectives.
• Analysis of schedule risks and opportunities, proposing mitigation and contingency plans.
• Monitoring of the physical and financial progress of the project, identifying deviations and proposing corrective actions.
• Preparation of detailed planning reports for project management and stakeholders.
• Active participation in project progress meetings, providing the planning perspective.
• Support in defining the planning strategy for EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects.
• Collaboration in the estimation of resources and durations for new proposals and projects.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable planning regulations and standards.
• Maintaining fluid and effective communication with all project stakeholders.
• Contribution to the continuous improvement of planning processes and tools within the company.
