What we're looking for

Electrical Engineering or a related degree.
Demonstrable experience of at least 7 years in similar positions, preferably in the water treatment plant sector (wastewater treatment plants, desalination plants).
Solid knowledge of low voltage and medium voltage.
Knowledge of the processes and technologies applied in water treatment plants.
B2 English level.

Electrical Engineer in Water Treatment Plants - Madrid

Location: Madrid

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer with solid experience in the design, development, and supervision of projects related to water treatment plants. You will join a dynamic and multidisciplinary team, where you will be able to apply your knowledge in low and medium voltage, electrical calculation, electrical protections, single-line diagrams, and data sheets to contribute to the success of key projects in the water treatment sector, including wastewater treatment plants and desalination plants.

What you'll do

Development of integral electrical projects for water treatment plants, ranging from the conceptual design phase to commissioning.
Performance of detailed electrical calculations, including load, short-circuit, and protection coordination studies.
Design and preparation of single-line diagrams, distribution layouts, electrical panels, and technical reports.
Selection and specification of low and medium voltage electrical equipment (transformers, switchgear, frequency drives, motors, etc.).
Definition and sizing of electrical protection systems, ensuring the safety and reliability of the installations.
Preparation of data sheets and technical specifications for the procurement of materials and equipment.
Supervision and monitoring of the execution of electrical works and installations, guaranteeing compliance with deadlines, budget, and quality.
Coordination with other departments (civil, mechanical, and process engineering) and with suppliers and contractors.
Participation in the commissioning, testing, and validation of electrical installations.
Analysis and optimization of existing installations, proposing improvements in energy efficiency and operability.
Compliance with applicable technical and safety regulations in electrical and water treatment projects.
Technical support to water treatment plants in operation.
