Project/Engineering Manager - operations - technical background / AI - on-site

We are currently looking for a Project/Engineering Manager with a technical background and extensive experience as a bridge between business, operations, and technology/AI capabilities, to join on a permanent basis one of the technology teams that Between has deployed at one of our main clients.

The selected candidate will collaborate on a large technology project under an agile methodology, with collaborative, non-hierarchical teams, and a high degree of proactivity and responsibility.

Mission: understand needs, translate them into viable solutions, coordinate resources and ensure that each initiative delivers tangible value to the business. You will combine management, strategic vision, analytical ability and proactivity, with a strong business partner component.

These will be your main responsibilities

• Engagement with stakeholders: gather business needs, clarify them and turn them into actionable requirements.
• Translating needs into solutions: assess whether the solution should be internal, hybrid or supported by corporate; make well-founded decisions.
• Coordination with AI and data teams: work with specialised professionals (agentic AI and data) to design, build and deploy solutions.
• Proactivity as a business partner: do not wait for the business to ask; identify opportunities, anticipate needs and propose improvements.
• Operations vision: cover not only technology, but also operational processes, efficiency and continuous improvement.
• Decision-making: evaluate alternatives, risks and dependencies; decide with sound judgment and autonomy.
• Alignment with corporate: ensure that local solutions integrate with global standards, platforms and strategies.
• Monitoring and reporting: measure impact, communicate progress and ensure visibility to management.

• Coordinación con equipos de IA y datos: trabajar con personas especializados (IA agentizada y datos) para diseñar, construir y desplegar soluciones.
• Proactividad como partner de negocio: no esperar a que el negocio pida; identificar oportunidades, anticiparse y proponer mejoras.
• Visión de operaciones: barcar no solo tecnología, sino procesos operativos, eficiencia y mejora continua.
• Toma de decisiones: evaluar alternativas, riesgos y dependencias; decidir con criterio y autonomía.
• Alineamiento con corporativo: garantizar que las soluciones locales se integran con estándares, plataformas y estrategias globales.
• Seguimiento y reporting: medir impacto, comunicar avances y asegurar visibilidad a dirección.
