Technical training in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, Mechanical Manufacturing, or similar.
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Mechanical Designer or Mechanical Drafter.
Proficiency in SolidWorks (3D modeling, assemblies, and drawings).
The role
We are looking for a Mechanical Designer with experience in SolidWorks to join the engineering team. The selected person will be responsible for the design and development of equipment, machinery, and mechanical assemblies, participating in all phases of the project, from conceptualization to the manufacturing and implementation of technical solutions.
What you'll do
- Design and development of mechanical assemblies and components using SolidWorks.
- Preparation of manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings, and technical documentation.
- Design of industrial machinery, tooling, structures, and mechanical equipment.
- Carrying out modifications and improvements to existing designs.
- Development of 3D models and generation of 2D drawings.
- Selection of materials and commercial components.
- Coordination with the Production, Purchasing, and Quality departments.
- Technical monitoring of projects and support during the manufacturing and assembly phase.
- Resolution of technical issues and continuous improvement proposals.
- Management and updating of technical documentation and Bills of Materials (BOM).
