Requirements
What we're looking for
- Studies in Vocational Training (FP) II or similar with specialization in electricity, HVAC, or building maintenance.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the technical services department of 5* and/or 4* hotels or a similar position in construction or installation companies.
Nice to have
- Experience in team management will be valued
- Experience in a similar position will be valued
The role
Ensure the efficient functioning of the Hotel's technical equipment and facilities, as well as carry out repairs of appliances, installations, and systems according to work orders. Assist the Technical Services Manager in the management tasks of the department.
What you'll do
- Solid knowledge of hotel operating procedures
- Assist the department head in department management tasks, relationship with suppliers and subcontractors, as well as in the coordination of the technical services team.
- Repair of technical equipment and facilities
- Carrying out preventive maintenance of machinery and facilities.
- Keep tools and machinery in good working order
- Verify the completion of assigned tasks
- Follow all company occupational health and safety policies
- Follow established work procedures
- Inform the technical manager of any detected anomaly
- If required, attend scheduled meetings in the absence of the technical manager.
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with other hotel departments.
- Ensure and record, through programs and tools, compliance with corrective and preventive maintenance marked by the company and by applicable regulations.
