Assistant Technical Maintenance Manager - Hotel HYB Eurocalas

What are the requirements for the position?

• Minimum studies: Vocational training related to maintenance.
• Experience in a similar position (minimum 2 years in a hotel of similar category).
• Experience in electronics: data, circuits, and wiring.
• Maintenance of industrial equipment.
• Knowledge of hotel machinery.
• Basic / intermediate knowledge in Electricity, air conditioning, heating and DHW, industrial refrigeration, catering machinery, plumbing, carpentry, sound, networks, etc.
• Intermediate knowledge of office automation.

Gross annual salary between €32,336.00 and €36,966.00, depending on the professional experience provided, training, performance, and productivity.

At Garden Hotel Group, we are looking to incorporate a 2nd Maintenance Technical Manager into the Technical Service department of Hotel HYB Eurocalas. Their mission will be to ensure the optimal state of the hotel's assets and facilities in order to offer the maximum quality in customer service through compliance with company regulations, current environmental, health, occupational risk prevention, facility and equipment maintenance regulations, and others that may apply.

What will their functions be?

• Together with the SSTT Manager, they are responsible for preventive maintenance activities and the conservation of the building, facilities, equipment, and machinery in general.
• Adequately distribute maintenance activities, guaranteeing good operation of the operations team and conservation for the building in general.
• Constantly review the state and proper functioning of high and low voltage electrical systems.
• Control the proper functioning of the different equipment as well as the conservation of the building and the different areas.
• Perform periodic inspections of the different areas of the Hotel in order to detect anomalies or defects in maintenance.
• Contribute to the profitability of the hotel by implementing corporate actions and policies that optimize energy and water consumption.
• Prepare daily reports of energy consumption readings, to know and ensure the adequate use and performance of the facilities.
• Control and supervise the proper use of equipment and tools to achieve a longer usage time.
• Participate in maintenance warehouse inventories to ensure their proper operation.
