The role

The primary objective of the Deputy Design Coordinator on Site is to ensure smooth communication between site and design, minimize delays and bottlenecks, and ensure the efficient resolution of design matters, thereby contributing to the proper progress of the project.

What you'll do

The Deputy Design Coordinator on Site plays a key role in the effective coordination between the site team and the external design team, facilitating agile decision-making and ensuring alignment among all project stakeholders.

Collect and consolidate comments and requirements from CATL engineers, relaying them in a structured manner to the off-site design team.
Support the rapid resolution of design issues on site, reducing reliance on the off-site team whenever possible.
Act as the main point of contact on site for the supervision team, gathering technical queries and channeling their resolution.
Serve as the on-site point of contact for the CATL Design Coordinator, ensuring alignment on technical and design matters.
Act as the on-site liaison with the design engineering firm and technical assistance team, facilitating coordination and the resolution of issues.
Maintain continuous reporting to the Design Coordinator, as well as to the Commercial Manager and the Project Manager, providing updates on design status, risks, and pending matters.
Track critical pending design items, driving their resolution in a timely and effective manner.
Work in close coordination with the planning team, reviewing key pending items and prioritizing design activities according to site needs and project milestones.
