Regulatory Reporting Technical Specialist

At Cajamar Tecnología, we need to bring a new person into the Regulatory Reporting office.

What functions would you perform?

• Preparation and validation of regulatory reports:
  • Prepare and review periodic reports required by supervisory bodies (Bank of Spain, ECB, EBA, Tax Agency, etc.).
  • Guarantee the correct application of CRR/CRD, Basel III/IV regulations, and EBA guidelines.
  • Ensure consistency between different reporting frameworks (COREP, FINREP, CIRBE, LCR, NSFR, ALMM, IRRBB, etc.).
• Data quality and consistency control
  • Reconcile accounting, risk, and inventory data to ensure integrity.
  • Implement internal quality controls to detect errors in reported information.
• Regulatory monitoring and process adaptation
  • Analyze regulatory changes and evaluate their impact on internal processes.
  • Coordinate the implementation of new requirements in collaboration with the involved business areas.
• Process automation and optimization
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects to reduce preparation times and minimize errors.
  • Collaborate in the development of scripts and tools to automate calculations and validations.
• Requirements and audit management
  • Handle information requests from supervisors and internal/external auditors.
  • Document procedures and submit evidence for regulatory inspections.
• Interlocution and coordination
  • Coordinate requirements with the risk, finance, accounting control, and compliance areas depending on the scope to be addressed.
  • Participate in meetings with supervisors to clarify doubts regarding reports and methodologies.
