FPGA Development Engineer

To feel comfortable in this position, knowledge of the following is required:

• Degree in Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, or similar.

• More than 2 years of experience in FPGA development with Xilinx and Intel and VHDL programming for complex digital systems.

• Digital signal processing, including filters and FFT, and its implementation in FPGA.

• High-speed digital hardware design, including power supply, clock distribution, signal integrity, and EMI/EMC protection.

• SoC architectures, IP cores, embedded systems, and signal acquisition with high-speed ADC/DAC.

• High-speed interfaces such as Ethernet, PCIe, JESD204, and Aurora, and VME and OpenVPX architectures.

• Schematic capture, simulation, test benches, and validation with laboratory instrumentation.

Would you like to develop FPGA solutions for signal acquisition and processing systems? At Capgemini Engineering, we are looking for an FPGA Development Engineer to join a space sector project where you will participate in the development, integration, simulation, and validation of high-speed digital systems.

• Develop digital systems in VHDL using Xilinx and Intel FPGAs.
• Implement digital processing algorithms, such as filters and FFT, considering timing, resources, and the FPGA architecture.
• Integrate IP cores and embedded systems into SoC architectures.
• Work with multi-channel or element-by-element RF architectures, high-speed ADC/DAC, and interfaces such as 10G Ethernet, PCIe, JESD204, and Aurora.
• Perform simulations, develop test benches, and verify the functionality and performance of designs.
• Design boards based on FPGAs, SoCs, and microcontrollers, including power supply, clock distribution, signal integrity, and EMI/EMC protection.
