Internship in the Photovoltaic Energy Department in Alcobendas

Carrefour continues to reinforce its commitment to sustainability and energy efficiency through self-consumption across its hypermarket network in Spain, with solar panel installations currently operating on the roofs of its establishments.
On average, these installations allow for covering around 25% of the energy demand of each hypermarket, although the percentage varies depending on the size of the store and its generation capacity, with July and August being the months of highest production.

Learnings:

Collaborate with the consumption and comfort control team through the implemented energy BMS, performing mainly the following tasks:

Checking the standardization of common parameters for luminosity, temperatures, or other circuits located in the stores

Monitoring the programming for special days throughout the year.

Monitoring time schedules and circuits, as well as the operation of the application.

Parameterizing the nomenclatures of the circuits.

Daily monitoring of store consumption, circuits out of automatic mode, circuits in manual position, and detection of bad practices.

Daily notifications of consumption deviations and bad practices.

Students of Energy Engineering and related fields, with the option of an internship agreement.
