At Caser Residencial, we want to incorporate a kitchen assistant into our team at our center located in A Zapateira.
Reporting directly to the general services manager, your mission will be to collaborate in the preparation and service of food, guaranteeing compliance with hygiene and safety standards, as well as the proper maintenance of utensils, equipment, and facilities, in order to ensure quality nutrition adapted to the needs of the diners.
What you'll do
- Prepare desserts and creams for normal and diabetic menus, according to the prescription of the head chef and pre-established menus.
- Turn on and maintain the oven in temperature and cleanliness conditions for the preparation of the various menus.
- Supervise the hygienic state of the utensils used in the preparation of menus.
- Set up (including meals) the carts to be used in each meal shift.
- Notify the cleaning service and assistants to take the carts up to each floor.
- Clean appliances and tableware used in the preparation of menus.
- Clean the carts used in the various meal shifts.
- Maintain all facilities used in optimal hygiene conditions.
- Take trash bags to the containers.
- Fill in for the cook in their absence.
- Adequately separate the waste generated during your activity and use materials, supplies, and natural resources responsibly, informing your immediate supervisor of any type of incident observed during the course of your work.
- Perform the tasks specific to the dining room-office, set up and clear the dining room tables, clean them, clean the floor tableware, and all functions related to said tasks, paying special care to the use of the materials entrusted to you.
- All those unrelated tasks that may be entrusted to you and that are related to your main mission of assisting in the kitchen, always within your training.
- Train the kitchen assistant.
