Risk-based planning: Participating in the preparation of the Annual Internal Audit Plan, identifying the highest-risk processes in Life and Non-Life businesses.

Execution of audit work in accordance with what is established in the Audit Plan, following international standards of internal audit professional practice.

Evaluate the design and effectiveness of controls associated with the calculation of Life and Non-Life technical provisions.

Review the processes used for the determination of actuarial assumptions and their adequate governance.

Analyze the methodological consistency of the actuarial models used by the entity.

Evaluate the calculation processes for the Solvency Capital Requirement (SCR) and Minimum Capital Requirement (MCR).

Review the adequacy of ORSA (Own Risk and Solvency Assessment) processes.

Evaluate the validation and data quality processes used for actuarial and regulatory calculations.

Review the management and accounting processes for ceded and accepted reinsurance.

Participate in audits regarding emerging risks, climate change, longevity, and biometric risks when applicable.

Solvency II Evaluation: Participation in projects to review supervision controls and verify the Solvency II Framework.

Drafting of reports and recommendations: Preparation of technical audit reports with clear findings, evaluating the financial impact and proposing improvement recommendations to Senior Management.

Follow-up of action plans: Monitoring the effective implementation of action plans agreed upon with the audited areas.

We want to hire an Internal Auditor at our headquarters on Avda. de Burgos. The person will join the Internal Audit area, which guarantees the effectiveness of the internal control system, risk management, and the Company's regulatory compliance through the planning, execution, and supervision of internal audits.

Demonstrable experience of at least 5 years in Big Four is required, specialized in the insurance sector.

Experience in leading and operationally coordinating field work assigned within the Annual Audit Plan, ensuring compliance with deadlines and defined quality standards.

Technical experience to perform process analysis of:

• Underwriting and Pricing: Audit of compliance with the entity's underwriting policies.
• Claims processing and management and Reinsurance: Evaluation of the claims settlement circuits for life and non-life businesses in direct insurance and ceded reinsurance.
• Technical Provisions for life and non-life businesses.

• Audit and Data Analysis Tools: Advanced Excel, Power BI, ACL Analytics, IDEA, or equivalent audit tools.
• SQL for database exploitation, knowledge of actuarial tools (Radar, Prophet, Emblem, ResQ, or similar, depending on the entity).

• Ability to interact at both management and operational levels with the heads of audited areas, maintaining professional skepticism and effectively negotiating the implementation of improvements.
