Global Internal Auditor

A leading multinational company in the industrial/energy sector is looking for a Global Internal Auditor to join its team in Madrid (Méndez Álvaro). You will be responsible for executing international internal audits, evaluating risks and controls, and supporting the global risk management model. A minimum of 5 years of experience in Internal or External Audit in multinational environments is required. High level of English.

• Execute internal audits included in the Annual Audit Plan on a global level.
• Plan audits, define scopes, and perform fieldwork through control testing and substantive procedures.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and the ICFR (Internal Control over Financial Reporting) system.
• Identify risks, control weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement in business processes.
• Follow up on action plans derived from audits until their correct implementation.
• Prepare and present audit reports with findings, conclusions, and recommendations.
• Support the corporate Risk Management (ERM) process, collaborating with the various risk owners.
• Advise different business areas on corporate governance, risks, and internal control.
• Coordinate and supervise audits performed by third parties, ensuring compliance with the defined scope and objectives.
• Support the preparation of reports for the Audit Committee, Board of Directors, and Management Committee.
