Requirements

What we're looking for

Compulsory Secondary Education (ESO) or equivalent basic Vocational Training, or alternatively, knowledge acquired in the performance of their profession with experience in the sector comparable to the training.

Native-level Spanish proficiency.

The role

Perform janitorial duties, and others as required, in order to guarantee security and order in the reception centers and the facilities available to the Organization within CEAR's Reception Program for immigrants, refugees, and asylum seekers. Reporting directly to the Management of the Reception Center in the Delegation, or to the Territorial Intervention Manager. 

What you'll do

  • Perform janitorial duties for CEAR's facilities or reception centers 
  • Prepare CEAR's facilities or reception centers for staff access   
  • Monitor the shared spaces of the center and the exterior areas (garden). 
  • Ensure the maintenance, order, and compliance with the center's coexistence rules. 
  • Answer the intercom and telephone. 
  • Attend to the needs of the people residing in the center. 
  • Support small, non-specialized maintenance and cleaning tasks. 
  • Act in the event of possible emergencies.  
  • Provide support in conflict situations. 
  • Receive mail and manage its internal/external distribution.  
  • Participate in the reception technical team meetings, when required.
