Requirements

What we're looking for

The role

Attend to the group targeted by the project in legal matters, providing information and advice regarding international protection procedures, statelessness status, and other inquiries related to immigration. Reporting to the Management of the Ceuta Emergency Center or to the State Coordination of the Legal Service and Strategic Litigation SSCC.

What you'll do

  • Offer legal advice and legal assistance in international protection and statelessness procedures, in both administrative and judicial proceedings
  • Process and monitor international protection and statelessness files, including the drafting of necessary legal documents
  • Maintain dialogue with competent authorities in the processing of administrative and/or judicial files.
  • Develop proposals and programming for information workshops and legal advice sessions.
  • Monitor, accompany, and report information on the migrant persons attended to individually and in groups. 
  • Update records in the CEARNET internal database and any other database dependent on the program management.
  •  Prepare reports, memoirs, adaptations, and proposals for improvement of the program and the area.
  •  Manage the administrative and documentary area of the center, in relation to its scope
  • Guide and accompany volunteer and/or intern personnel assigned to the area
  •  Provide support to the Center's activities, if required by the Management of the Facility
  •  Comply with the provisions of CEAR's Security Policy and Regulations. Participate in the planned Information Security training sessions, responsibly and proactively, incorporating what is learned into the daily performance of the job. Communicate incidents through the Information Security Incident Log established for this purpose.
