The role
As an Operator, you will join our Operations team. In this role, you will report to the Operations Manager and will have the opportunity to operate the plant both from the control room and in the field, in accordance with ContourGlobal's quality and safety standards. What you'll do
Key responsibilities:
You will be responsible for:
- Identifying and reporting potential anomalies that may arise in production operations, taking the necessary measures to correct deviations according to the instructions received.
- Performing field and SCADA patrols.
- Assisting the Shift Supervisor in designing isolations and executing the isolations approved by the shift supervisor in the field.
- Preparing and reviewing the department's technical instructions.
- Supervising and controlling the unloading of dangerous goods.
- Informing your superior in case of uncontrolled deviations so that they can respond appropriately.
- If necessary, supporting the emergency response team in resolving any incident detected during your shift, to maximize power generation and reduce downtime, within the limits established by the plant's operating procedures.
- Preparing incident and improvement reports.
- Collaborating in the correct and effective implementation of the integrated safety, health, environment, and serious accident management system for the assigned group location, based on the responsibilities defined in the applicable procedures.
- Acting in case of emergency as a member of the response team, or substituting other members of the emergency team, as defined in the Internal Emergency Plan.
- Promoting continuous improvement.
