The Gas Networks Spain business is responsible for the distribution of natural gas and renewable gas and operates nationwide (Spain). As a distribution company, it is responsible for the development, operation, and maintenance of more than 53,800 km of gas network to which more than 5.4 million supply points in nearly 1,150 municipalities are connected. The main activities it carries out are: commissioning, meter reading, periodic inspection, and incident reporting. Mission:

Supervision of tasks assigned during the shift; both in the real-time operation of the gas transportation and distribution network, and in the management of emergency resolution on the networks and user receiving facilities to ensure correct operation and continuity of service, in accordance with Operations Plans and Current Regulations, as well as optimizing available resources.

You will work in three areas: Emergencies, Operations, and Service Desk

• Handle incoming calls (or different communication channels to the Control Center), gathering the necessary information from the interlocutors, according to the established criteria and procedures, to categorize the priority of action and classify the received alerts based on their importance, to ensure their resolution and within the established times, always in the P1 and P2 scope (emergency and urgent alerts with a commitment to safety or continuity of supplies in networks and facilities)
• Assign the received alerts to the corresponding teams, based on their availability and proximity to the incident location, transmitting the information they need for resolution.
• Perform daily monitoring of the operation of the Natural Gas Transportation and Distribution Network, analyzing its key parameters to ensure they comply with those established in the Operations Plans, as well as detecting possible deviations and acting to correct them, mobilizing resources if necessary.
• Collaborate in the management of information from the Natural Gas Transportation and Distribution Network collected by the SCADA and other supervision applications. Proactively participating, in coordination with other Exploitation units, for the updating of said information, according to the needs of the exploitation and real-time operation.
• Control the correct operation of communication and telecontrol systems, as well as collaborate in their maintenance, with the objective of ensuring that information from the network is received at all times and that its elements can be acted upon when required.
• Control access to facilities, detecting possible cases of intrusion to guarantee their integrity, verifying their correct operation from the telecontrol systems, and mobilizing resources when necessary. As well as checking that no parameter is out of range once the personnel leave.
• Analyze, authorize, and supervise the execution of all Authorizations carried out on the Natural Gas Transportation and Distribution Network, and satellite plants for the regasification of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) and Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG).
• Supervise the real-time operation of satellite plants for the regasification of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) and Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG).
• Perform a correct handover of information regarding the state of the operation, and of relevant events, through its daily registration in the available supports for this purpose, and the relays carried out during the shift change.
• Coordinate the closures and reopenings of large commercial or industrial facilities for MOP > 4 bar, calculations of gas leaked due to third-party damage in the natural gas network, extraction of gas quality data from LNG plants.

What you need

Mandatory requirements

• University degree in Engineering (Industrial, Energy, Telecommunications, Civil, or similar).
• 1 to 3 years of experience in the operation of energy infrastructures.

• Having previous experience in network exploitation.
• Experience in control centers and complex industrial environments.
• Advanced level knowledge in data analysis, interpretation of operational information, and use of tools. SCADA is valuable.

Técnico/a Operación y Urgencias Centro de Control de Distribución (Barcelona)

El negocio de Redes Gas España es el encargado de la distribución de gas natural y gas renovable y opera en ámbito nacional (España). Como compañía distribuidora, es responsable del desarrollo, operación y mantenimiento de más de 53.800 km de red de gas a la que están conectados más de 5,4 M de puntos de suministro en casi 1.150 municipios. Las principales actividades que lleva a cabo son: puesta en servicio, lectura de contador, inspección periódica y la atención de avisos. Nuestro propósito, ser agente activo de la descarbonización y ser un actor principal en la transición energética del país.

Misión:

Supervisión de las tareas encomendadas en el turno; tanto en la operación en tiempo real de la red de transporte y distribución de gas, como en la gestión de resolución de urgencias que haya sobre las redes e instalaciones receptoras de los usuarios con el fin de garantizar una correcta explotación y continuidad del servicio, de acuerdo a los Planes de Operaciones y la Normativa Vigente, además de optimizar los recursos disponibles.

Trabajarás en tres ámbitos: Urgencias, Operación y mesa de servicios

• Atender las llamadas recibidas (o las diferentes vías de entrada de comunicación al Centro de Control), recabando la información necesaria de los interlocutores, de acuerdo con los criterios y procedimientos establecidos, para catalogar la prioridad de actuación y clasificar los avisos recibidos en base a su importancia, para garantizar su resolución y dentro de los tiempos establecidos, siempre en el ámbito P1 y P2 (avisos de emergencia y urgencia con compromiso de seguridad o continuidad de suministros en redes e instalaciones)
• Asignar a los equipos correspondientes los avisos recibidos, en función de la disponibilidad y proximidad de éstos al lugar de la incidencia, transmitiendo la información que precisen para su resolución.
• Realizar el seguimiento diario de la explotación de la Red de Transporte y Distribución de gas natural, analizando sus parámetros clave para garantizar que cumplen con los establecidos en los Planes de Operaciones, así como detectar posibles desviaciones y actuar para corregirlas, movilizando recursos si fuese necesario.
• Colaborar en la gestión de la información de la Red de Transporte y Distribución de gas natural recogida por el SCADA y otras aplicaciones de supervisión. Participando proactivamente, en coordinación con otras unidades de Explotación, para la actualización de dicha información, conforme a las necesidades de la explotación y operación en tiempo real.
• Controlar el correcto funcionamiento de los sistemas de comunicaciones y de telecontrol, así como colaborar en su mantenimiento, con el objetivo de asegurar que se recibe la información de la red en todo momento y que se puede actuar sobre sus elementos cuando sea requerido.
• Controlar los accesos a las instalaciones, detectando los posibles casos de intrusismo para garantizar la integridad de las mismas, verificando su correcto funcionamiento desde los sistemas de telecontrol, y movilizando recursos cuando sea necesario. Así como chequear que no queda ningún parámetro fuera de rango una vez que el personal las abandona.
• Analizar, autorizar y supervisar la ejecución de todas las Autorizaciones que se llevan a cabo sobre la Red de Transporte y Distribución de gas natural, y plantas satélites de regasificación de Gas Natural Licuado (GNL) y Gas Licuado derivado del Petróleo (GLP).
• Supervisar la operación en tiempo real de las plantas satélite de regasificación de Gas Natural Licuado (GNL) y Gas Licuado derivado del Petróleo (GLP).
• Realizar un correcto traspaso de la información referente al estado de la operación, y de los acontecimientos relevantes, mediante su registro diario en los soportes disponibles para ello, y los relevos realizados durante el cambio de turno.
• Coordinar los cierres y reaperturas de grandes comerciales o industriales para MOP > 4 bar, cálculos gas fugado por daños de terceros en la red de gas natural, extracción de los datos de la calidad del gas de las plantas de GNL.

Requisitos obligatorios

• Titulación Universitaria en Ingeniería (Industrial, Energía, Telecomunicaciones, Caminos o similar).
• Experiencia de 1 a 3 años en operación de infraestructuras energéticas.

• Disponer de experiencia previa en explotación de redes.
• Experiencia en centros de control y entornos industriales complejos.
• Conocimientos nivel avanzado en análisis de datos, interpretación de información operativa y uso de herramientas. Valorable SCADA.
