Senior Frontend Developer / Architect (React and Next.js)

• At least 5 years of experience with React and TypeScript

• Experience with Next.js in production projects (SSR/SSG)

• Experience in web performance, technical SEO, and accessibility

• Experience with automated frontend testing and CI/CD

• Experience consuming REST and/or GraphQL APIs

• Experience reviewing code and mentoring other developers

• Good level of English (B2/C1)

• Experience in e-commerce projects, preferably in fashion or luxury

• Experience in migrations between frameworks

• Knowledge of Angular and Spartacus

• Experience with SAP Commerce Cloud or with headless commerce architectures

At CONVOTIS Iberia, we are looking to bring on two high-level frontend profiles with React and Next.js for a migration project of an international fashion and luxury brand's website, from Angular (Spartacus) to React. They will be the technical reference for the team: they will provide expertise, make decisions on how the new frontend is built, and mentor Middle profiles to ensure the migration proceeds with quality.

• Technically lead the migration from Angular (Spartacus) to React and Next.js, together with the architects team.

• Make decisions regarding rendering (SSR/SSG), performance, SEO, and state management

• Integrate the frontend with backend APIs and propose improvements in how they are consumed

• Guarantee quality through testing, best practices, and performance control (Core Web Vitals)

• Review code and mentor the Middle profiles of the team

• Collaborate with design, backend, product, and business

• Senior Position (1): in addition to developing, you provide technical expertise, review code, and mentor Middle profiles.

• Architect Position (1): you define the architecture of the new frontend, the migration strategy (including the temporary coexistence of both versions, if necessary), and the technical standards of the team. Previous experience as an architect or frontend technical reference in large projects is required, as well as having led a migration or modernization.
