We are currently seeking a Senior Mechanical Designer for the development of engineering projects within the Industrial Plants and Energy sector. We are looking for a candidate based in the Huelva area, available to travel to our office in Algeciras. The selected candidate will be responsible for the following duties:

What you'll do

  • Drafting, design from scratch, correction, and modification of mechanical drawings.
  • Preparation and modification of P&IDs.
  • 3D modeling of installations and equipment.
  • Design of piping systems and supports based on information gathered on-site.
  • Extraction and review of isometrics and layout drawings.
  • Data collection and measurements at industrial plants for subsequent development in the technical office.
  • Verification of compliance with regulations and quality standards.
  • Preparation of technical documentation and project progress reports.

What we're looking for

The minimum requirements for the position are:

  • Higher Vocational Training, preferably related to Design in Mechanical Manufacturing or similar.
  • Minimum of two years of experience as a drafter or mechanical designer.
  • Experience in drafting, preparing, or modifying P&IDs and 3D modeling.
  • Experience in industrial sector projects, industrial plants, or energy.
  • Experience conducting site visits and collecting data on-site.
  • Availability to travel to our office in Algeciras and to travel as required by project needs.
  • Proficiency in 2D and 3D design tools.
