In Transaction Services, we offer specialized financial advisory solutions to clients facing critical business decisions and transactions where significant value is at stake.

We are looking for a dynamic and goal-oriented person to join our M&A Transaction Services team in Barcelona as an Associate. As part of this team, you will lead decision-making within the framework of a transaction, identifying the opportunities, risks, and strengths of the businesses analyzed. We work in a dynamic environment to adapt to our clients' needs.

  • Buy-side or sell-side Due Diligence: you will perform the analysis of the main financial metrics impacting valuation (EBITDA, net financial debt, working capital, cash flow) as well as the evolution of the main KPIs and specific ratios for each business.
  • You will advise on sale and purchase agreements, reviewing financial variables and advising on closing and price adjustment mechanisms.
  • Vendor assistance: you will support the seller and their M&A advisors in the preparation of financial information and the anticipation of risks during the sale process of a business.
  • You will participate in services for the design, planning, and implementation of business unit spin-off processes.
  • Business plan analysis: you will review the business risks and opportunities reflected in financial projections based on historical analysis and sector knowledge.
  • You will advise on taking control of holdings from private equity funds, family offices, or corporations by analyzing the main management/reporting indicators.

How do we envision you?

  • Degree in Business Administration and Management, Economics, or a double degree in Law or Engineering.
  • Between 2-3 years of experience within the professional services sector such as audit, transactions, or corporate finance, or similar experience in finance, strategy, or corporate development departments of other companies.
