Requirements

What we're looking for

  • Minimum required experience of 2 years in Freight Forwarding, preferably within an export air freight department
  • Strong communication skills
  • Results-oriented and attention to detail
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Fluent Spanish (B2-C1) or native
  • Fluent English (B2-C1)

Nice to have

  • Studies in Foreign Trade / Transport and Logistics will be valued
  • Knowledge of the CargoWise tool will be valued

The role

At DHL Global Forwarding, we are looking for a person to join the export air transport team for our office located in Parc Logistic, performing operational and customer service tasks.

What you'll do

  • Management of all types of shipments, General Cargo, Dangerous Goods, Oversized, Pharma, Consolidations, Cross trades
  • Coordination with the client and Cartage regarding pickups and deliveries at the warehouse or terminal
  • Coordination with handling agents, activation of customs processes, corrections
  • Coordination with our own warehouses to reduce operational costs
  • Recording of cost estimates for special shipments
  • Communication, registration in the system for opening files and resolving incidents
  • Management of Timestamps / GTOM program for managed shipments
  • Creation and sending of supplementary invoices and credit notes. Review of billing claims by clients or partners
  • Developing relationships with assigned customers and keeping them informed about the status of their shipments
  • Handling and processing customer feedback, managing both complaints (Claims) and compliments.
  • Participate in visits alongside the sales department when necessary
  • Any other additional function related to the position
  • Participation in Department meetings, Performance Dialogues, and Coaching.
  • Managing tools and customer portals as required operationally
