The role
At DSV Road, we want to bring on board a Road Traffic Operator - FTL for our Oiartzun offices. Their main mission will be to guarantee efficient, profitable, and customer-oriented management of FTL transport, ensuring optimal load planning, effective coordination with fleet and providers, and proactive shipment tracking, to offer a reliable and efficient service.
What you'll do
Among the tasks, the main ones will be the following:
- Planning and coordination of FTL shipments, ensuring that trucks depart full and on time.
- Shipment tracking and customer service, managing incidents, providing updated information regarding their loads, and offering a service oriented towards customer satisfaction.
- Fleet management: including coordination with drivers, loading instructions, roadside assistance, and incident resolution.
- Management of load boards, optimizing resources and maximizing commercial opportunities.
