Business Consultant | Barcelona

We are looking for a business consultant capable of accompanying organizations through complex cross-functional initiatives: from problem analysis to solution definition, business case construction, and operational implementation.

Your role will be to drive business transformation by working directly with business, technology, and operations, identifying improvement opportunities and converting analysis into concrete decisions and actions.

• Work with executives to understand what is holding their business back, analyze alternatives (impact, feasibility, risks), and propose structured solutions.
• Prepare clear executive presentations: translate complexity into direct messages that management understands and can use to make decisions.
• Define how to measure the success of an initiative (KPIs, OKRs), how the organization must change to achieve it (operating model), and in what steps (deployment plan).
• Facilitate workshops with stakeholders, manage agreements between areas that do not always see eye to eye, and help the organization make decisions.
• Support project management in the structuring and monitoring of initiatives, without necessarily being a pure PM.
• Work on cross-functional initiatives that may or may not include an IT component: operational transformation, process optimization, business models, customer experience, etc.

Experience

• Generalist profile with real experience in consulting or business transformation: you have worked on cross-functional initiatives, business analysis, or process improvement.
• Experience presenting to management and defending proposals before high-level stakeholders: you know how to communicate so that people understand and take action.
• Experience transforming customer needs into concrete solutions: you do not just identify the problem, but you structure the solution.

Skills

• Structuring capability: you know how to decompose a complex problem, identify which variables truly matter, and build a solid analysis that leads to decisions.
• Writing and presentation: solid PowerPoint, ability to synthesize, and clear storytelling. You know how to communicate without noise.
• Strategic thinking combined with execution capability: you see the big picture but also know how to drill down into the details and make things happen.
• Collaborative mindset: you work well with multidisciplinary teams, business, technology, and operations. You know how to influence without formal authority.
• Adaptability: you navigate different contexts, with varied clients and challenges. You do not need to be an expert in a specific sector, but you do need to know how to think like a consultant.

Knowledge

• Good understanding of the main business transformation challenges: strategy, process optimization, operational transformation, customer experience, organizational models.
• Understanding of the IT ecosystem and its impact on transformation strategies: you understand how technology enables or limits change.
• Interest in trends such as AI, intelligent automation, new operating models, and digital transformation: you understand their impact on business.

Languages

• English B2/C1 (essential).

Desirable

• Previous experience in banking, the public sector, or industry.
• Data-driven mindset: you like working with data and metrics to validate decisions.
• Notions of Agile or experience in agile environments.

Barcelona, with possible on-site presence depending on project needs.
