What we're looking for

To be considered for the position of Kitchen Assistant - Breakfast Service, the following requirements are essential:

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in similar positions in high-demand environments, preferably in upscale restaurants or hotels.
Knowledge: Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and handling of kitchen utensils.
Skills: Ability to work in a team, under pressure, and with attention to detail.

The ideal candidates must meet the following requirements:

Minimum experience of 3 years in similar positions within the kitchen field.
Solid knowledge of Mediterranean, International, and Traditional Spanish Cuisine.
Familiarity and experience in preparing cold and hot dishes.
Experience in producing dishes in significant volumes.
Mandatory to hold a food handler's certificate.

Nice to have

Availability: The service starts at 5:30 a.m., so candidates with their own vehicle will be highly valued to facilitate their commute to the workplace.
Previous experience in hotel kitchens will be positively valued.
Own vehicle is valued to arrive on time for the shift.

The role

As a Kitchen Assistant in the Breakfast Service, you will be a fundamental part of the kitchen team, supporting the cooks in preparing a variety of dishes, including Mediterranean, International, and Traditional Spanish cuisine. The main duties of this position include, but are not limited to:

What you'll do

Preparing Ingredients: Cleaning, peeling, and cutting the ingredients needed to prepare the dishes, ensuring everything is ready for service.
Collaborating in the Kitchen: Assisting in the preparation of dishes, maintaining the quality and presentation standards required by the kitchen.
Maintaining Hygiene: Ensuring all food safety and hygiene regulations are met in the kitchen, including the proper storage of food.
Order and Cleanliness: Helping maintain cleanliness and order in the kitchen, ensuring all utensils and equipment are in optimal condition for use.
