The role

From Empleabilidad ETT we are looking for a MAITRE with extensive experience to join a prestigious 4-star hotel in Marbella. This position is key to ensuring high-quality service in the hotel's restaurant, providing an exceptional experience for both domestic and international guests.

The MAITRE will be responsible for leading the dining room team, coordinating service, and maintaining the establishment's high standards in a dynamic and demanding environment.

What you'll do

As MAITRE, your main duties will be:

Team Management: Supervise, motivate, and coordinate the waiting staff, ensuring efficient service aligned with the hotel's standards.
Customer Service: Provide personalized, excellent attention, guaranteeing a memorable dining experience.
Issue Resolution: Handle complaints or unexpected situations professionally, quickly, and with a customer-focused approach.
Service Organization: Manage reservations, table assignments, and shift planning, optimizing resources during peak times.
Staff Training: Participate in the ongoing training of the team, promoting continuous improvement and adherence to protocols.
Interdepartmental Coordination: Work closely with the kitchen and other departments to ensure smooth, seamless service.
Quality Control: Oversee the proper presentation of the dining room, service delivery, and compliance with the establishment's standards.

Requirements

Experience: Minimum of 4 years in a similar role, preferably in upscale hotels or restaurants.
Languages: High level of English (essential). Other languages will be valued.
Leadership: Experience in team management and the ability to motivate and direct staff in demanding environments.
Interpersonal Skills: Excellent customer relations and communication skills.
Ability to Work Under Pressure: Capable of handling multiple tasks while maintaining service quality.
Gastronomic Knowledge: Training or experience in wines, cocktails, and gastronomy will be valued.
