The role

At Mac Hotels we are looking for our next Restaurant Manager to lead the dining room operations at our hotel located in Benalmádena. If you have experience managing large teams, you know how to manage diner flows without losing your composure, and you take pride in maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hospitality warmth, this is your project.

Your Mission at the Hotel.

As Restaurant Manager, you will be the operational and human engine of the dining room. Your objective will be to guarantee maximum fluidity in every daily service, coordinate an agile and efficient table turnover, control costs and waste at the point of sale, and lead a team of 15 to 35 professionals through exemplary leadership, ensuring an impeccable gastronomic experience for our guests.

What you'll do

  • Operational Dining Room Management: Coordinate the customer entry flow, seating assignments, and table turnover pace during different services, avoiding queues and ensuring that every diner is attended to with speed and warmth.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Supervise waiters/waitresses and assistants; design balanced shift rosters that guarantee optimal coverage during peak times, always ensuring statutory breaks and a good working environment.
  • Dining Room-Kitchen Synchronization: Maintain fluid and constant communication with the kitchen team for the timely replenishment of products, minimizing waiting times and controlling food waste and shrinkage.
  • Quality and Food Safety Management (HACCP): Rigorously supervise hygiene and sanitary regulations, allergen traceability, storage temperatures, and occupational risk prevention (ORP).
  • Crockery and Cost Control: Perform periodic inventories of tableware, glassware, and linens, implementing good handling practices to drastically reduce the breakage rate and optimize material resources.
  • Customer Experience (CX): Active presence during service to interact with guests, detect any special needs in a timely manner, and resolve complaints or incidents on the spot.
  • Team Training: Continuously train (on the job) new hires and core staff in service standards and hygiene protocols.
