About the role

Envira Sostenible S.A., a leading company in air quality networks and automatic systems for monitoring emissions and polluting parameters, needs to hire a Draftsperson for its Automatic Measurement Systems Department at its Asturias branch.

What you'll do

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare drawings and schematics for atmospheric instrumentation systems using computer-aided design software (AutoCAD, ePlan, or similar).
  • Design and document technical solutions for the installation of sensors, transmitters, weather stations, and other atmospheric measurement equipment.
  • Develop electrical drawings, instrumentation diagrams (P&ID), simple mechanical drawings, and technical specifications.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager team in the development of instrumentation projects from the design phase through to execution and commissioning.
  • Manage and maintain project technical documentation: drawings, manuals, specifications, and equipment lists.
  • Ensure projects comply with applicable regulatory and safety standards.
  • Make modifications and updates to drawings and projects according to client needs or changes in instrumentation systems.
  • Provide technical support during the installation and maintenance of instrumentation equipment, including travel to plant sites.

What we're looking for

Requirements:

  • Technical training in Drafting, Technical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in instrumentation project design, preferably in areas related to environmental measurements, meteorology, or control systems.
  • Proficiency in drafting and technical design software such as AutoCAD, ePlan, or similar.
  • Basic knowledge of instrumentation and sensors (analyzers, temperature, pressure, wind, humidity measurement, among others).
  • Ability to interpret electrical drawings, P&IDs, and instrumentation specifications.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with remote teams.
  • Knowledge of standards and regulations related to instrumentation and control in industrial or environmental settings.
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
